Saada Centers Celebrate the National Disability Day by Organizing the Little Chef Activity for Children with Disabilities

On the occasion of National Disability Day, Saada for Development Association organized an educational and recreational activity entitled “Little Chef” at Saada Center 1 and Saada Center 2, which provide services for children with disabilities. The initiative aimed to develop the children’s life skills in a friendly, creative, and joyful environment.

The activity brought together a number of children benefiting from the services of both centers, giving them the opportunity to prepare simple meals and recipes under the supervision of the educational staff. By combining learning with fun, the initiative helped strengthen the children’s sense of cooperation, independence, and self-confidence.

More than simply preparing food, the activity provided a meaningful opportunity to showcase the children’s talents and abilities, demonstrating that disability is never a barrier to creativity. It highlighted how determination, combined with encouragement and care, can transform even the simplest tasks into moments of achievement, happiness, and personal growth.

This initiative forms part of the educational programs implemented by Saada for Development Association to promote the social inclusion of persons with disabilities and to strengthen their life skills through practical, hands-on activities. These programs are designed to enhance their abilities and support their personal development within an inclusive and stimulating environment.

At the conclusion of the activity, the Association expressed its great pride in the enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment demonstrated by the children. It emphasized that every smile on their faces represents a new achievement and a message of hope, reaffirming that investing in people is the foundation of sustainable and inclusive development.

The Association also extended its sincere appreciation to all educational and administrative staff members, as well as the volunteers whose dedication contributed to the success of this initiative. It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the organization of high-quality activities that promote the values of inclusion and provide children with disabilities with opportunities to express their talents and achieve their aspirations.
