Saada for Development Association Recognized Under the Mouazara 7 Program for a Project Promoting Women’s Digital and Economic Empowerment

In a new recognition that reinforces its role as a leading civil society organization in the fields of development and economic empowerment, Saada for Development Association has announced its selection as one of the winners of the 7th edition of the national Mouazara Program, organized under the auspices of the State Secretariat in Charge of Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy.

This distinction recognizes the Association’s efforts in designing an innovative development project aimed at training women in garment cutting and sewing while integrating computerized embroidery technologies within the Découd-vite Workshop. The initiative successfully combines the preservation of Morocco’s rich artisanal heritage with the adoption of modern digital technologies.

The project is part of the Association’s new vision, guided by the slogan:

“Digital Technology: A Driver of Women’s Economic and Social Inclusion.”

The initiative seeks to strengthen women’s skills by providing them with modern vocational qualifications that meet the evolving demands of the labor market. Through the integration of digital technologies into the fields of sewing and embroidery, the project creates sustainable employment opportunities, encourages women’s entrepreneurship, and promotes the principles of the social and solidarity economy.

The Association emphasized that this recognition serves as a strong source of motivation to continue developing innovative initiatives that place women at the heart of its mission while opening new pathways for their economic and social empowerment.
