At the kind invitation of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family, the Association “Saada for Development” was honored to attend the First Regional Conference on Public Family Policy, held on April 8, 2026, at the headquarters of the Agricultural Chamber of the Béni Mellal–Khénifra region.
The event was attended by high-level officials, including:
- Ms. Naïma Ben Yahia, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family
- Mr. Abdeljabbar Rachdi, Secretary of State in charge of Social Integration at the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family
- Mr. Khatari El Moujahidi, Director of the National Mutual Aid Institution
- The Secretary General of the Ministry
- The Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
📌 The conference focused on several key themes, including:
- Presentation of the Public Family Policy framework towards 2035
- The Moroccan family between resilience challenges, demographic shifts, and value transformations (Prof. Mohamed Aabbab)
- Support programs for families in the Béni Mellal–Khénifra region
- The role of local stakeholders in policy implementation
- Social assistance services: current situation and prospects
- Testimonials from associations working in the field of family support
In his intervention, the President of the Association “Saada for Development,” Mr. Abdelhak Asseroumouh, emphasized that the issue of persons with disabilities is at the core of the association’s priorities. He raised the following question:
How can the Public Family Policy 2035 concretely respond to the needs of families that include persons with disabilities, particularly in the Khouribga province?
A high-quality meeting and serious discussions, which we hope will translate into fair and sustainable policies that address the realities of families in the Béni Mellal–Khénifra region, especially in Khouribga.
